Docs/Inviting Members

Inviting Members

Invite team members to your workspace using invite codes. Only workspace admins and owners can create and manage invite codes.

Open Invite Settings#

  1. Click Business in the sidebar (bottom section)
  2. Click Invite Members

The invite modal opens with a two-column layout: existing codes on the left, create new on the right.

Create an Invite Code#

  1. In the right column, configure the code:
    • Usage Limit — Toggle on and set a number (1–999 uses)
    • Expiration Date — Toggle on and pick a date
    • Neither — Code never expires and has unlimited uses
  2. Click Generate Code

Create invite code

Share the Code#

Once generated, two sharing options appear:

  • Copy Code — Copies just the code (e.g., ABC123)
  • Copy Link — Copies a full URL (e.g., https://lyniti.com/join/ABC123)

Send the code or link via email, chat, or any messaging platform.

Share invite code

Manage Existing Codes#

The left column lists all invite codes with their details:

  • Copy Code — Copy the raw code to clipboard
  • Copy Link — Copy the full join URL
  • Toggle Active/Inactive — Disable a code without deleting it
  • Delete — Permanently remove the code

Code Status#

  • Active (green) — Code can be used
  • Inactive (grey) — Code is disabled but still listed

Invite Code Lifecycle#

  1. Admin generates a code with optional limits
  2. Code is shared with the invitee
  3. Invitee uses the code at /join/CODE or via the sidebar
  4. Code usage count increments (if limited)
  5. Admin can deactivate or delete the code at any time
